Through this art installation piece, I explored my experience with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and shared this experience with my Advanced Typography class. The painting being projected on is an acrylic self portrait (approximately 4 x 7 ft in size), representing my ideal self and how I externally present myself. The dark text being projected represents my inner thoughts, and the looping mental patterns I struggle with internally. The projected text is programmatic; coded in p5.js, and edited into a video. With coding, I produced interesting patterns and random word generation.
